A New Breed: Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit Banned (Bred)

Nike created a revolution in 1985 when they designed the Air Jordan 1 for a certain Michael Jeffery Jordan. They broke away from conventional thinking then and are planning to throw caution into the wind again with the Air Jordan 1 High OG Flyknit.

As the name of the shoe suggests, this is basically a Flyknit constructed version of the Air Jordan 1. Rocking a Black and Red color scheme, most of the shoe’s upper comes in a woven construction with the exception of the leather hits on the Swoosh, tongue tab and the inner lining of the shoe. Down below we see a white midsole and a red rubber outsole. The wings logo also seems to stitched in and constructed with leather.

This special Air Jordan 1 is scheduled to release on September 8th, 2017 and will retail for $180.

I love Nike Flyknit Racers and Trainers, but personally, I can’t come around to this iteration of the Flyknit. Feeling that smooth leather on a pair of 1s? Way more satisfying. What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments.
