Legendary Retro to Make Comeback in 2018

The Air Jordan 11 is a thing of beauty. With its high cut and shiny patent leather, you could go nuts on the court, then go to a wedding right after with them. The perfect shoe to go with a tux would be the iconic “Concord” Air Jordan 11. If you’ve been waiting for a retro, then you’re in luck because it has been announced the the Concords will be releasing again in 2018!

Nicknamed “Concord” for the concord purple Jumpman that’s in between the lacing, they debuted on to the world stage on May 7th, 1995 against the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference semi-finals. It was something people hadn’t seen. Ahmad Rashad was given a pair to wear and showed them off during the pre-game of game 4 of that same series and the world went nuts. To think that Tinker Hatfield told MJ not to wear them because Nike thought the world wasn’t ready…..

Released only a couple times in 2000 and 2011 (a year where sneaker camp outs and mayhem were starting to creep back in the public consciousness) with the low-version hitting stores in 2014, expect the high-top version during the holiday season in 2018.
