Back for an Encore: “Eminem” 4s might retro in 2018

Eminem has been a legend in the rap game for years now. He’s also been a low-key sneaker head, wearing heat all the time, but somehow goes unnoticed by celebrity sneaker watchers. His collaborations with Jordan Brand however? Nobody sleeps on those. Yesterday, it was rumored that the Air Jordan 4 “Encore”, which came out in 2005 and were only given to friends and family, were releasing again in 2018.

According to a post from Em’s Instagram feed, he’s seen handing a pair of Encore 4’s to Stock-X founder and Detroit’s own Josh Luber. That being said, this doesn’t confirm for sure that they will be released to the general public. They may be auctioned off for charity on the website like they did for LeBron James’ first retro release.

From the looks of the picture, the shoe seems to be the same as it’s original counterpart, except for a newer construction and lighter shades of blue an gray. There’s no news of an official release yet, but this picture gives us positive news.

Stay tuned at The Jordan Rack for more news and browse through our website for heat.
