Guardians of the Galaxy: Nike Releases Official Images of The Nike Air Foamposite One “Nebula”

In 2012, Nike had arguably the most anticipated and hectic release ever (to this day, even), considering the Concord 11s fiasco that happened just two months prior. NBA All-Star Weekend was coming up and to commemorate the moment, they released the Air Foamposite One “NRG”. Camp outs were going on for days. Many fights broke out. The shoe got so much coverage that it landed in news outlets such as the New York Post and CBS New York. Right now, they’re going for around $1,500 at Flight Club.

Six years later, the sequel has arrived. Nike announced just before the New Year that the Nike Air Foamposite One “Alternate Galaxy” aka “Nebula”. Returning with update visuals as well as a solid black sole, this upcoming drop will also come attached with the “Remove Before Flight” hang-tag that adorned all of the Galaxy releases during the epic 2012 All-Star Weekend. It appears that this version of the “Galaxy” foams will also release during All-Star Weekend, which will take place from February 16-18th.
