The rumor mill has been buzzing the last few days over the news that the “Bred” Air Jordan 4 with Nike Air might be coming back. It would line up perfect, given the fact that the 30th anniversary of the debut of the Air Jordan 4 during the 1989 NBA All-Star game happens to be next year. Not to mention, the retro release in 1999 will be 20 years old. As with the issue pertaining to the Nike Air branding, Jordan Brand has slowly brought back more Nike Air branding since 2013, with the floodgates opening more in 2015.
This shoe is celebrated by many sneaker heads around the world and as the date starts creeping up and anticipation keeps climbing, perhaps we’ll see special editions of the shoe and commercial collaborations with artists and entertainers.
