Jordan Brand and Paris St. Germain Collaborating on a Special Shoe

Although they’ve failed to advance further in the Champions League, football team (or soccer if you’re picky) Paris Saint-Germain have had an excellent season, no thanks to their superstar, Neymar. Though he’s been sidelined since March, the Jordan Brand athlete has been sidelined since March, he’s been hard at work, wearing a bunch of fresh Air Jordans.

Because of his affiliation with the Jumpman, Jordan Brand has decided to team up with the reigning Ligue 1 Champions for a special Air Jordan 5. According to SneakerNews, “the shoe draws inspiration from the club’s alternate black uniforms and prominently features a co-branded Jordan/PSG hit on the heel. Further details arrive via a “Paris” graphic with the “a” replaced with a Jumpman logo under the plastic netting on the lateral side of the shoe, a number 75 on the heel representing Paris zip codes (all of which start with 75), and further Paris branding on the inside of the tongue.”

There’s no word on release date or price, but expect these to fly off the shelves immediately, as they’ll almost surely be an exclusive shoe. What are your thoughts? Check out the photos below and stay tuned to The Jordan Rack for more news and product availability on our site.
