The Air Force One has been a staple in a Sneakerhead’s rotation for over 30 years. However, no place shows an appreciation for the shoe more than New York City. You can guarantee almost NYC sneaker head has had at least one pair of Air Force Ones in their lifetimes.
Dover Street Market has been one of the go-to destinations in NYC for luxury clothings brands and has done collaborations with Nike already (see Air Jordan 1). The shoe features white tumbled leather all around the shoe, with black trim for accents. The right shoe features “NYC” block lettering with an overlapping red Swoosh on the tongue, heel tab, and lateral heel. The left shoe has the same features, however, Nike and DSM decided to swap the “NYC” letters for “DSM”.
