Originally debuting at Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibit at MCA Chicago, sneaker and fashion enthusiasts alike were clamoring for a release and fans will certainly get their wish.
Virgil Abloh’s Off-White brand has still been coming in hot with their collaborations with the Jordan Brand. The fashion mogul and Louis Vuitton creative director has released the Air Jordan 5 dressed in his “Off-White” aesthetic back in February of 2020 and there are rumors of a “Sail” color way releasing later in the year. Before that comes to fruition, however, the Jordan Brand, along with Virgil Abloh, are collaborating to create an Off-White x Air Jordan 4 set to be in women’s sizing and detailed (officially) in Sail/Muslin-White-Black.
Using its preferred font of choice, Helvetica, it adorns its famous “Air” quote above the visible air unit. Also featuring the Nike Air branding in the back heel with a clear setting, it also features the zip-tie used in Off-White related footwear. The OG-style shoebox features enlarged holes.
